Have You Ever Tried Your Coffee Like This?
Now that you know all about the huge benefits to drinking coffee, you might be looking for a bit of variety. Chances are that you know exactly how you like your coffee. Some of you will inevitably prefer a dark roast with no cream and no sugar, instead opting to drink your coffee as black as midnight on a moonless night. Others will probably enjoy a dash of half and half and a tablespoon of sugar. The point is that you’ve been drinking coffee long enough to have figured out what you like and now your morning routine is based around that.
With so many different ways to make coffee and so many different tastes out there, we think that experimentation is the key to getting the maximum amount of enjoyment out of your coffee. That’s why King’s Koffees is the coffee roasting company who plans to share a few methods you may not have ever considered. Give them a try, because who knows? You might just find a new favorite way of drinking coffee.
It Always Starts With High Quality Coffee Beans
Of course many people will agree with us when we say that premium coffee beans are the most necessary ingredient in any coffee. As luck would have it, specialty coffee beans are exactly what we offer! Take a look at our current line of products, place your order, and then give these recipes a shot!
Swedish Egg Coffee
An egg in your coffee? Yes, you read that right! Don’t knock this one until you try it because we think you’ll be pleasantly surprised. You start by preparing water in a pot and bringing it to a boil. Next, combine a tablespoon of ground high quality coffee beans and a cracked egg. Stir everything up well, then add your egg and coffee mixture to the boiling water.
Stir this new mixture, boil for three to five minutes, then, using a sieve, pour your coffee into the cup you’ll be using. Some traditionalists even suggest adding the shell of the egg to the mixture. Just be sure that you don’t end up with eggshell in your coffee and you should be good to go!
Butter Coffee (Also Known as Bulletproof Coffee)
Popular among groups of people who are looking to cut carbohydrates, Butter Coffee just might change your mind regardless of your dietary preferences. Proponents of this brewing method boast that it can help to kickstart your metabolism, give you energy, help to keep you focused, and stay fuller for longer in the mornings which keeps you from snacking on things you shouldn’t be snacking on.
For this recipe, you’ll need two tablespoons premium coffee beans (ground, of course), a cup of water, a tablespoon of butter, and a tablespoon of coconut oil. Prepare your coffee as usual--the measurements above are simply a guideline. The next step is up for debate because some people prefer to add their coffee, butter, and coconut oil to a blender and mix it together that way, whereas others simply add the ingredients to the coffee and stir it up with a spoon. Either way, once it’s all mixed together, you can enjoy it as is or top it with a bit of cinnamon, nutmeg, or even whipped cream if it suits you.
Yuengyeung
A popular beverage in Hong Kong, Malaysia, and even Ethiopia, Yuengyeung is the art of mixing coffee and tea together into one beverage. Traditionally made using seven parts tea to three parts coffee, this is a beverage that we think everyone should try at least once. Many people find that they are either coffee drinkers or tea drinkers, but this allows them to combine the best of both worlds into a unique drink.
A personal favorite of our coffee roasting company is to use the high quality coffee beans found in our Henrys Reserve-Organic Tennessee Whiskey Smoked Coffee and combine it with an Earl Grey tea. The pairing of the two flavors is truly out of this world as the fruity tones of this particular coffee with the fruity tones of the Earl Grey come together and are complemented by the delicious tobacco and smoked whiskey cupping notes. Whether you decide to serve it hot or over ice, black or with a bit of cream and sugar, we think you’ll agree that this combination is something you’ll come back to time and time again.
